Tarpon: The biggest of the sport fish, in the best spot in the world!
Snook: A local favorite, this tasty fish is a fun catch
Redfish: (Red Drum) is a great estuary catch and grows to great sizes here
Cobia: A challenging sport fish that’s worth every effort
Shark: Oh yes, we have sharks! There’s no better tale to tell when you get home
Permit and Pompano: Large and fun shellfish feeders, these fish are a great catch
How We fish
Our Aquasport is specially customized for shallow water fishing, so we do a lot of light tackle, backcountry fishing charters. However, we are also big fans of Tarpon fishing in Boca Grande pass, and sport fishing in the depths of the Harbor. Need a charter guide for a tournament? We’ve got you covered. Plan Your Trip
Where we Fish
Southwest Florida has an abundance of all kinds of waterways, estuaries, coastlines, islands and more. The fresh waters of the Caloosahatchee River flows into Estero Bay and Pine Island Sound into huge estuaries and protected coastlines that serve as fish breeding grounds. Flowing from these estuaries to mix with the Gulf of Mexico, these waters grow a huge assortment of fish and fishing habitats. The shallows are particularly great fishing, and our custom Aquasport was rebuilt specifically to find and creep up on these feeding areas. In the north, the Peace River feeds Charlotte Harbor, a huge, sheltered area where the salt waters of Boca Grande Pass rush to mix with the fresher waters of the coast. Welcoming fishermen since Ponce de Leon, these deep waters feed a mixture of sport fish as well as dolphins, turtles, birds and other wildlife.
About the Captain
Having lived in Southwest Florida his entire life, fishing Pine Island Sound for as long as he can remember; being a fishing guide is truly a passion of Captain Jason Ramer. Without a doubt, some of his greatest memories are growing up in Cape Coral, Florida, fishing on our gulf coast water. Jason aims to recreate these memories for you, every single charter trip. He would say that the second most important thing to him is tailoring fishing charters around the expectations and needs of those that trust him on their journey. Captain Jason Ramer is fully licensed and insured. We always catch fish and we always have a great time.
